Negativity Causes Stress
We all know that negativity can bring us down. Occasionally venting our frustrations can be therapeutic, but sustained negativity can lead to depression and excessive anxiety. Of course, if you are depressed and stressed out, negativity tends to come naturally, but it's important to break this cycle or it can spin you into a very bad place. Breaking the negativity cycle requires effort and persistence. Count the number of times negativity enters your conversations during the day - you may be surprised at the frequency. Make a conscious effort to cut back on negative conversation, and you may be surprised to find yourself in a happier, less stressful frame of mind.
